Elliott Traded!

In a shocking development the St. Louis Post Dispatch is reporting that they have aquired late night funny man Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday in exchange for Blues number one goaltender Brian Elliott and a fourth round pick in the NHL Entry Draft.

Fallon last played in goal for the College of Saint Rose Golden Knights Lacrosse team.  Fallon says that he has been biding his time as a late night host on NBC for the last 5 1/2 years.  I certainly want to thank everyone at NBC and on my late night show for all the good times and the many beautiful memories…But it has been my life long dream to play goalie in the NHL and when David Backes jokingly said we could use a really funny goalie..well I just  jumped at the opportunity.

David Backes has reportedly denied the signing of Fallon…However, The St. Louis Post Dispatch hockey reporter Jeremy Rutherford has seen Jimmy  sneaking onto the ice and practicing with the team in between Coach Hitchcocks bathroom breaks.

In a wonderful twist of fate…Brian Elliott has always wanted to have his own Late Night Show and has signed a 5 year deal worth 25 million dollars to host his own show on NBC – Late Night with Brian Elliott.
