Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams recently just came off the 15 day disabled list, for what we were told was merely “calf tightness”…
Since Adams return, he has hit 3 home runs in his first 3 games, and tripled in his 4th, he has been a terror to opposing pitchers since he returned. What could be the source of Matt’s offensive power? We asked his teammates if they had noticed anything.
Jon Jay gave us his thoughts: “Since Matty’s been back there has been something strange about him, his right arm looks a little different, and he crushed a ball that landed by the St. Louis Arch during batting practice yesterday.”
Manager Mike Matheny told us he plans to use Matt Adams as his new secret weapon for sacrifice bunts.
